Tiwa Savage to drop new single ‘ forgiveness’

Popular music star Tiwa Savage is set to release her new single, “Forgiveness,” on Friday, October 18, 2024.

The singer shared a short video of herself dancing to the track on Instagram, confirming the release date and building excitement among her fans.

The post’s caption read: “Oct 18th #ForGiveness Weekend wey go sweet, na from Thursday we go know.”

The first teaser for the song was posted on her page earlier on October 7, 2024.

In May 2024, Tiwa Savage, who is not only a singer but also a songwriter, actress, and filmmaker, released the soundtrack album for her debut feature film, ‘Water & Garri‘.

This project featured collaborations with Grammy nominees Olamide and Arya Starr.

In July 2024, she released the music video for ‘Commona‘, featuring Olamide and Mystro Sugar, directed by Jyde Ajala.

The video included scenes from the Prime original film.

In September 2024, Tiwa dropped the music video for ‘One Heart (Can Change The World)‘, written by renowned songwriter Diane Warren.

This song is the official soundtrack for the animated film ‘Ozi: Voice of The Forest‘, which focuses on environmental issues and sustainability.

Tiwa Savage also appeared on Simi’s track *Men Are Crazy*, the second single from Simi’s album *Lost and Found*. The music video for this song was released in April 2024 and directed by Pink.
