UBTH Institute of Health Science Tech announces admission for the 2024/2025 session

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Institute of Health Sciences and Technology, of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Benin City for the 2024/2025 academic session in the following courses. 

1. Health Information Management. 

• Course Duration : ND 2 years HND 2 years. 

2. Environmental Health Technology 

• Course Duration: ND 2 years HND 2 years.

3. Ortho Cast Technology.

• Course Duration: ND 2 years.

4. Dispensing Optics

• Course Duration: ND 2 years. 

5. Biomedical Engineering Technology 

• Course Duration: ND 2 years HND 2 years. 

6. Community Health Officers

• Course Duration: 1 to 2 years (Chew o Bsc).

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: All ND candidates must have written the 2024 UTME (JAMB) Exams with minimum score of 150.

𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

1. Applicants should possess a minimum of five credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O/L ,which should include English Language,Mathematics.Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Subjects obtained with NABTEB are acceptable for the programmes.

2. Health sciences in lieu of Biology is acceptable for Environmental Health Technology.

3. For candidates seeking admission into Biomedical Engineering Technology course, a pass in any of the following subjects will be an added advantage wood works, auto mechanics, basic electricity, technical drawing and fine art.
