A disturbing report has revealed another Premier League star was prosecuted for alleged r*pe.

The footballer, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was taken into custody at the prestigious Corinthia Hotel in Westminster early Wednesday morning.

According to The Sun, sources say the incident occurred after the player and the woman, believed to be in her 20s, met at a Central London bar.

After a night of socializing, the two returned to the hotel, where the alleged assault took place.

The woman “raised the alarm at the front desk of the five-star hotel” and was described as “very distressed.”

Witnesses described the scene as chaotic as law enforcement arrived and arrested the player shortly before 10 a.m.

The footballer was taken to Charing Cross police station for questioning, where a routine DNA swab, mugshot, and fingerprints were collected.

After being questioned throughout the day, he was released on bail until a date in mid-December.

Investigation underway as forensics gather evidence

Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation, which includes a forensic examination of the player’s ₦1.5million(£750)-a-night hotel room.

A source revealed, “She claims he then attacked and raped her,” while police are also analyzing CCTV footage from the hotel.

The player has a notable career, having represented several English clubs and played internationally.

One insider said as per The Sun, “He has played in the Premier League and people will recognize him,” emphasizing that “the allegations against him are very serious.”

With the investigation ongoing, the unnamed footballer remains under scrutiny ahead of the hearing in December.
