The Super Eagles have departed the country for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday four encounter against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

The players and their officials left the country via a charted flight on Sunday morning.

The Super Eagles defeated the North Africans 1-0 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday.

Tuesday’s encounter will hold at the 10,000-capacity stadium in Benina, which is 19 kilometres from Benghazy.

The stadium has an artificial turf which might not be suitable for Nigeria’s foreign-based stars.

A win for Augustine Eguavoen’s side will see them secure a berth at the AFCON 2025 finals.

The highly anticipated encounter will kick-off at 8pm Nigeria time.
