Nigeria and West Bromwich Albion defender, Semi Ajayi, is confident that the Super Eagles will triumph over Libya in Friday’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo, Completesports.com reports.

The 30-year-old defender, who was part of John Obuh’s U-20 Flying Eagles squad that represented Nigeria at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey, spoke during a media chat on Wednesday at the team’s camp in the Four Points Hotel, Ikot Ekpene.

“We know how important the match is for us, and we’ve worked hard to expect a win. Yes, we’re prepared, we’re determined, and we’re looking forward to getting the three points on Friday,” Ajayi said confidently.
