After Visits To Three Cities, Peter Obi Concludes United States Tour [Photos]

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, has concluded his tour of the United States.

Naija News recalls that Peter Obi had on October 24th commenced a three day, three Cities tour of the United States of America.

This was made known in a statement from Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR) signed by Ibrahim Umar.

According to the statement, the tour is in continuation of his interactions with Nigerians in the Diaspora and in keeping with his determination to lead the search for a new Nigeria.

The tour will be undertaken in the three cities of Houston, Texas; Los Angeles, California; and Atlanta, Georgia.

“The tour will be the last leg of his North America Appreciation visits that had earlier taken him to Toronto, Canada; Boston, MA; New York City, NY; West Orange, N; Cherry,y N; Dallas, TX; Charlotte, NC; and Detroit, MI,” the statement said.

In a post on his X handle on Sunday, the former Anambra State Governor disclosed that he has completed his North America tour.

He expressed gratitude to all Nigerian diaspora throughout North America for their contribution to sustaining Nigeria.

Peter Obi wrote: “Yesterday, I concluded my North America Thank You Tour with an Open Forum Nigerian diaspora in Atlanta, Georgia. They were also joined by some Georgia State Legislators.

“During my interaction with them, I encouraged everyone to hold on to the vision of a New Nigeria—a nation where institutions work; there will be the rule of law and a productive nation where every citizen has an equal opportunity to thrive. I envision a Nigeria built on merit, where individuals are lifted from poverty, regardless of their background.

“With the conclusion of this North America tour, I express my heartfelt gratitude to all Nigerian diaspora throughout North America for their contribution to sustaining Nigeria today in one way or another and urge that you do not relent.

“Our collective efforts will bring about a new Nigeria that is POssible.”
