Burna Boy has surpassed his peers to become the Nigerian artist with the most entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart
Burna Boy’s latest collaboration, “We Pray,” with Coldplay, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini Stoessel, debuted at No. 87, securing his sixth chart entry. This feat puts him ahead of Tems, who has five entries, and Wizkid, with four.
Other notable Nigerian artists on the chart include Rema, CKay, Fireboy, Davido, and Lojay, each with one entry.
Burna Boy is now close to breaking the record for most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries by an African artist, held by South African rock band Seether.
Additionally, Burna Boy has made history as the first African artist to sell out London Stadium twice, with over 60,000 attendees at his recent concert.
This achievement is part of his ongoing world tour, following the release of his album “I Told Them”.
