Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel is of keen interest to the Premier League.

Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi Samuel is attracting interest from the Premier League, as Crystal Palace are reportedly prepared to make a move for him.

The 26-year-old has been with the Turkish giants since 2021 and was an important member of a Fenerbahce side that lost only one game last season, despite finishing second behind Galatasaray.

However, he is among the set of players whose contract expires at the end of the season, and the Eagles are preparing to snap him up.

The details

With their two right-backs, Danny Ward and Nathaniel Clyne, in the twilight of their careers, the London-based side are said to be scouring the market for a younger player to fill the role.

According to Turkish publication Aspor, they have set their sights on the 26-year-old Nigerian defender and are monitoring his contract situation.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce are not prepared to see the former QPR defender go and have begun talks to hand him an extension. However, Palace are not deterred and are keen on landing their man.

Meanwhile, Osayi-Samuel has barely featured in Jose Mourinho's squad this season, as he has struggled with injuries. His current injury to his ankle also kept him out of the Super Eagles squad for the current international break.
