The INEC head office in Aduwawa Benin City, Edo state where the results of the gubernatorial election held on Saturday 21st September is to be announced later in the day is in preparatory mood.

Representatives of different media houses, INEC collation officers and political parties agents are already occupying the hall serving as the collation centre.

Huge security personnel were mounted at strategic locations in Benin City and much more around INEC head office.

The state has been relatively calm as vehicular and human movement have picked up, hours after the election.

The  Edo state collation center will be opening in few hours from now to bring to the fore results from over 4000 polling units that participated in the gubernatorial election.

The election result is seen as a three horse race among the All Progressive Congress APC, Labour Party and the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
