EKSU extends date for commencement of 2nd semester exam, 2023/2024

Management and the Committee of Deans at a special meeting held on Thursday, 10th October, 2024 received and considered a letter from the EKSU Students' Union Executives, requesting for an extension in the conduct of the Second Semester Examination for twenty-one (21) days.

Management and the Committee of Deans discussed extensively on the request from the Students' Union Executives and empathized with the students on the negative impact of the recent flood that ravaged their environment as a result of the heavy downpour.

Management noted from the submissions of the Committee of Deans that one (1) week extension be granted to enable the students prepare adequately for the forthcoming examinations.

Arising from the above, Management decided as follows, that:

1. the students be given one (1) week extension to enable them prepare for the forthcoming examination;

ii. the examination for 300 level students will begin on Monday, 21 October, 2024;

iii. the examination for 100 and 200 level students will begin on Monday, 28th October, 2024; and

iv. the examination for 400 and 500 level students will begin on Monday, 25th November, 2024.

The decision of Management is hereby communicated accordingly.
