“We’ll give our best” – Sevilla attacker vows to impress on Super Eagles return

Super Eagles and Sevilla attacker, Chidera Ejuke, has revealed he and his teammates give their all to ensure Nigeria secure victory against Libya when both sides clash tomorrow, Soccernet.ng reports.

The 26-year-old joined Sevilla this summer and has been enjoying a good start to life in Spain, as he currently stands amongst some of the best dribblers in Europe this season, alongside Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Bayern’s Jamal Musiala.

His decent form saw his get an invitation to the National team for the first time in two years, and the former Hertha Berlin man revealed how much the invitation means to him.

“I’m just happy to be honest. I’m really excited to be back. It’s always a good feeling to get the opportunity to represent your country and to see some colleagues you’ve not seen in a while, so, it’s really nice. The more you perform, the more you get these opportunities. I’ve always been good with the national team and I always love to represent the country whenever I get the opportunity, give my best and enjoy football,” the fleet-footed said in an interview with NFF TV.

Speaking ahead of Nigeria’s game vs Libya tomorrow, Ejuke vowed to give his all, alongside his teammates while urging Nigerian’s to give their maximum to the team.

“We’ll just go out there and give our best, and hopefully get the three points at the end.we urge the fans to be behind us and support us in every situation,” the former Royal Antwerp man concluded.

Nigeria will take on Libya at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium tomorrow, with kick-off time slated for 5:00pm.
