Chidimma Onwe-Adetsina, an indigene of Amurri, Nkanu West LGA, was accompanied by her father, Mr. Okechukwu Onwe.

Governor Mbah praised Onwe-Adetsina’s resilience and grit, citing these traits as emblematic of the people of Enugu State.

He expressed pride in her heritage and acknowledged her inspirational role for young people, particularly girls.

Mbah emphasized his administration’s commitment to education, aimed at empowering youths to reach their full potential.

He assured Onwe-Adetsina of the state’s support as she prepares to represent Nigeria at the international Miss Universe pageant in Mexico.

In response, Onwe-Adetsina thanked the government and people of Enugu and Nigeria for their warm welcome. She commended Governor Mbah’s prioritization of education, aligning with her own passion for empowering youths through education.

As part of her visit, Governor Mbah appointed Onwe-Adetsina as a brand ambassador for Enugu State.

She pledged to collaborate with the state to mentor and encourage young people, promoting education and a brighter future.
