VeryDarkMan claimed in a video that unnamed EFCC officers received ₦15 million from Bobrisky to drop money laundering charges and that Falana sought a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for ₦10 million.

Falana addressed the allegations on Channels Television, stating that he has never met or spoken to Bobrisky.

He explained that Bobrisky contacted his son, Folarin (Falz), seeking assistance, but Falz declined, advising Bobrisky to follow official channels.

Falana called the allegations false and defamatory. Despite resisting a criminal complaint, he announced plans to pursue civil action to restore his and his son’s integrity.

VeryDarkMan has since apologized for the derogatory remarks, expressing surprise that Falana’s name was mentioned in the audio.
