The Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) has announced the election of Emmanuel Rochas, CEO of Orange Wholesale International, as the Chair of the GLF Board.

As GLF Chair, Emmanuel will play a pivotal role in continuing to realise the collaborative work and strategic vision of the GLF’s members, who include many of the largest international ICT service provider carriers globally.

I feel much obliged being elected as Chair of this wonderful association by my peers”, Emmanuel commented. “I am deeply committed to the principles of collaboration and value creation, and I know these are fundamental to the Global Leaders’ Forum, as is the future of connectivity. I do believe we can collectively benefit from significant opportunities related, amongst others, to the emergence of AI and the modernisation of global networks. With robust APIs, more sustainable operations, resolute action against fraud, we will shape the future of connectivity and sustain economic growth. During my tenure, I will be especially keen to promote the reputation of our industry as a responsible, innovative and trusted force to be reckoned with.

Emmanuel succeeds Elisabetta Romano, former CEO of Sparkle and current Chief Technology and Operations Officer at FiberCop, who served as the GLF Chair since 2022.

Serving as Chair of the Board has been an extraordinary privilege, and I am immensely proud of the work we have accomplished together in strengthening the GLF’s role as a pivotal platform for thought leadership, collaboration, and action in the global connectivity industry. We have made significant strides in advancing a shared vision and it has been incredibly rewarding to see the impact we’ve had on the industry and its future” says Elisabetta Romano. “Emmanuel deeply understands the challenges and opportunities facing our industry today. I am confident that he will bring a rigorous approach and fresh perspective to driving industry collaboration across a number of tough challenges which can only be solved through collaborative action through bodies like the GLF.
