In a symbolic handover ceremony at the Football House, Hon. Godwin Adode officially assumed office as the new Chairman of the Delta State Football Association (DFA) this Thursday.

Outgoing Chairman, Chief Kenneth Nwoamucha (2016-2020 tenure under Edema Fuludu, and 2020-2024 under his leadership), handed over documents and properties, urging Adode to build on his achievements and foster teamwork.

Chief Nwoamucha emphasized, “Carry your board members along, and together, take Delta State football to greater heights.”

The ceremony included:

– Formal documentation transfer
– Inspection of office facilities
– Enumeration of assets

Adode’s tenure promises a new era of growth and development for Delta State football.

Austin J.J. Okocha/Edema Fuludu (2016-2020)
Chief Kenneth Nwoamucha/ Steve Cole (2020-2024)
Hon. Godwin Adode/ Neville Ambekederemo(2024-present).
