Havertz Equals Van Persie’s Arsenal Goal Feat

Kai Havertz equaled Robin van Persie’s goal feat at Arsenal after the German got on the score sheet against Southampton in Saturday’s Premier League.

With struggling Southampton taking a shock lead at the Emirates, in the second half, Havertz made it 1-1 after a Southampton player misplaced a pass.

The goal means Havertz becomes the first Arsenal player since Van Persie to score in seven consecutive home games.

So far Arsenal are yet to lose a game in all competitions this season.

Mikel Arteta’s men are in third place on 17 points, same points as second placed Manchester City and just a point off leaders Liverpool.
