The Super Eagles, who recently secured a hard-fought victory against Libya in Uyo, are now focusing on maintaining their momentum in the qualifiers.

Coach Eguavoen, known for his tactical acumen, is working tirelessly to fine-tune his squad for the challenges ahead.

However, the team has been dealt a blow with the absence of key defender Ndah. The Orlando Pirates star is sidelined with a long-term injury.

This follows confirmation from his South African clubside that Ndah suffered a tibia fracture during a recent club match, ruling him out for the remainder of the year.

Olisa Ndah captained Orlando Pirates will not play again this year.

Ndah's absence will force Eguavoen to reshuffle his defensive lineup, potentially impacting the team's strategy for the upcoming qualifiers.

The coach is now tasked with finding a suitable replacement to fill the void left by the talented 26-year-old defender.

Benjamin Tanimu was a late addition to the Super Eagles team the last time due to Ndah's injury..

Adding to the team's challenges, the Super Eagles are still reeling from a harrowing experience during their recent trip to Libya.

Just days after their match in Akwa Ibom State, the team found themselves in a devastating hostage situation, an event that has undoubtedly left its mark on the players and staff.

Despite these setbacks, Eguavoen will surely be optimistic about Nigeria's chances in the AFCON 2025 qualification campaign.

The Super Eagles' next qualifier slated for next month will be a true test of the team's resilience and Eguavoen's tactical prowess.

Super Eagles fans across Nigeria and the world are eagerly anticipating how the team will overcome these obstacles in their quest to secure a spot in the AFCON 2025 tournament.
