Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has claimed that he is aiming to win the Ballon d’Or award.
The defender has been one of Liverpool's most important players, winning the UEFA Champions League in 2018 and the Premier League in 2019.
Due to his skill set, the 26-year-old is also considered the best right-back in the Premier League and the world.
The right-back played an important role in Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Leipzig in Germany in the Champions League.
Arnold speaks on Ballon d'Or
Alexander-Arnold has stated that his main target is to win a Ballon d'Or award later in the near future.
According to Fabrizio on X, Trent Alexander-Arnold said, “My main target? I'd say to win a Ballon d'Or because I believe I can. I want to be the first full-back to ever do it.”

The Real Madrid transfer target explained that he wants to be the first full-back to win the prestigious award.
In the history of the Ballon d'Or, only three defenders have won the prestigious award, Franz Beckenbauer, Matthias Sammer and Fabio Cannavaro.
However, no full-back has ever won the award in history and Arnold is looking forward to breaking the record.
Meanwhile, Trent has been a transfer target for top European teams, with Real Madrid and Barcelona leading the race for his signature.
