Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted he is not a fan of one of Real Madrid's greatest legends.
Former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has never been shy about speaking his mind.
In a recent interview, he shared his honest thoughts on former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos.
Klopp's history with Ramos dates back to the 2018 Champions League final, where Liverpool suffered a 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid.
Ramos was criticised for his tackle on Mohamed Salah, which left the Egyptian star with a shoulder injury.
Jurgen Klopp slams Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos
"If you see him again and you're not from Real Madrid, you think he's ruthless and brutal," he told MARCA (via Football Espana).
"If you put together all of Ramos' actions... a lot of things happen with Ramos."
Specifically, Klopp referenced the Salah incident:
"I think in a situation like Ramos with Salah, someone needs to judge it better. Is Mr. Sergio Ramos really a good guy? He is not my favorite player. The action was brutal."
Klopp emphasized his disdain for Ramos' mentality, saying, "I could never understand that mentality. I never had players like that, and when I did, I made sure they left."
