Iseghhi-Okojie Quit Governorship Race, Back Okpebholo For Edo State

Iseghhi-Okojie, wey be Action Alliance candidate, don talk say im decision to step down from governorship race be because im believe say true leadership no be only to stand alone, but also to know when to unite for collective benefit of Edo people.

Im emphasize say im endorsement of Okpebholo be to foster unity and ensure effective governance for Edo State. Okojie, wey dey with im running mate, Deaconess Mabel Onaiwu, and Acting chairman of APC, Jarrett Tenebe, for press conference on Sunday, say:

"Today, I dey address una with deep sense of responsibility, hope, and determination for our beloved Edo State... I don decide to step down from governorship race and collaborate with APC and their candidate, Monday Okpebholo... Edo no fit afford another term of mismanagement, economic hardship, and insecurity, so I decide to collapse my structure and join forces with APC to change de narrative."

Tenebe add say after eight years of PDP non-performance, dem opt for collaboration with other parties to form government of unity, and say Iseghhi-Okojie joining forces with APC be one of those arrangements.
