Just a day back, Bimpe Akintunde was quite emotional as she touched down in Canada for the event. Taking to her Instagram page, she noted how she was a crybaby as she revealed how she got emotional on her flight to Canada, thinking of where she was coming from, the struggles, the ups, and downs, through thick and thin, but God has been faithful to her. She said despite all of the life challenges, God keeps coming through for her which was such a big deal.

Last year, as the year drew to an end, Akintunde reflected on 2023. She stated that as she reflected on the year, she realized that it had been God for her and had penned an appreciation post to the public.

In other news, the Yoruba actress had revealed why she stopped celebrating some of her colleagues. The mother of one expressed her frustration at how she would celebrate some of her colleagues on their birthdays and get snubbed, hence why she stopped celebrating them. Pleading to them, she begged them to always take time out to acknowledge when people celebrate them.
