Josh Maja wins high praise for sensational goal

Super Eagles striker Josh Maja got his eighth goal of the season at Luton Town, but it was the class of the goal that got tongues wagging.

It was a sensational backheel flick that opened the scoring for West Bromwich Albion against home team Luton.

It was a beautiful way to score again after the striker had gone without a goal in the last five matches.

Maja received lavish praise for the goal.

He has now scored 57% of his team’s goals this season.

He is the second leading scorer in the English Championship, two goals behind the top scorer.

West Brom are fifth in the standings with 21 points after 13 matches.
