Manchester United ended their five-game winless streak with a crucial 2-1 comeback victory against Brentford at Old Trafford on Saturday
Brentford’s Ethan Pinnock scored just before halftime with a powerful header, but Manchester United equalized two minutes into the second half through Alejandro Garnacho’s bullet strike.
Rasmus Hojlund sealed the win in the 63rd minute, cleverly finishing off a Bruno Fernandes backheel flick to beat the offside trap and lob the ball over Mark Flekken.
The victory alleviates pressure on manager Erik ten Hag, with United facing Fernerbahce in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday and West Ham United in the Premier League next Sunday.
Brentford hosts Ipswich Town in their next Premier League match.
