“My mother had to take my father to court just because of school fees” – Lady (VIDEO)

A lady on the Rants and Bants Podcast Show shares her fears and experiences regarding love, marriage, and the effects of a love-turned-sour.

Emphasizing the need for women to take responsibility for their lives and have financial stability, the lady narrated how her mother, who was solely dependent on her father, suffered when the man turned away from her.

On her parents relationship she said,

“…My father was a rich man and their relationship was loving. He was nice, he was loving and after two kids he just switched up. It got to a time where my mother had to take my father to court just because of school fees..”

This shaped her resolve not to lay idle or depend on any man but to have a job or business in her name to fall back on when things go wrong. She also asserted that she would ensure her children never suffered, with or without their father.
