Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has applauded Nigerians on the country’s 64th independence anniversary, acknowledging the challenges Nigeria faced to become a nation.

The governor noted that despite the challenges, Nigeria has made significant progress, particularly since its return to democracy 24 years ago.

Governor Fintiri emphasizes the need for self-reflection and concerted efforts by Nigerians to address the country’s numerous challenges and move the country forward.

He stresses that success can only be achieved by accepting responsibility for actions and rejecting the victim mentality.

“Some of these weaknesses are within our means to correct, but we will only succeed if we are brave and honest enough to accept responsibility for our actions and reject the convenient attitude of playing the victim and blaming others,” Fintiri noted.

The Adamawa State Governor reassured the people of the state that his administration is committed to leaving no one behind and guaranteeing that every Adamawa citizen benefits from these efforts.

Regrettably, unpatriotic acts and injustice have undermined our progress. We must accept responsibility and reject victimhood,’’ Fintiri reemphasized.
