Nigeria’s Wizkid Teases Brent Faiyaz Collaboration

Nigerian artist Wizkid has teased his upcoming track, Piece of My Heart, which features American singer Brent Faiyaz.

The collaboration was revealed on Wizkid’s Instagram, though the release date is still unknown. Wizkid, who gained prominence with his 2010 hit single Holla at Your Boy, has remained a dominant force in the music industry.

Throughout his career, he has earned multiple Grammy nominations and won in 2021 for his contribution to Beyoncé’s 2019 hit Brown Skin Girl. In March, Wizkid shared that his upcoming album, Morayo, will be a departure from Afrobeats.

“Album name Morayo, best I ever made. I am not an Afrobeats artist. Don’t call me that,” he said. “If you like Afrobeats, please don’t download my album. I’m not Afro-anything.”

Despite the excitement surrounding it, Wizkid has not yet confirmed a release date for Morayo.
