Mele Kyari, Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), is grieving the tragic loss of his 24-year-old daughter, Fatima Kyari

She passed away on Friday and was laid to rest in Abuja, according to Islamic rites.

Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, broke the news on X, offering heartfelt condolences to the Kyari family.

Vice President Kashim Shettima also extended his sympathies, praying for Fatima’s peaceful repose and asking God to grant the family strength during this difficult time.

The untimely d3ath of Fatima, who was in the prime of her life, has sent shockwaves through the community.
