The Rivers United striker proved his consistency in front of goal by firing the only goal of the match at Lobi Stars to follow up on his match-winning brace at home versus Heartland FC.

Kabir Abdullahi has taken to the NPFL like duck to water after coming through from the second-tier NNL this season.

The former Kebbi United star showed great composure inside the box, when he tucked away a rebound in the 79^th minute of a keen contest for Rivers United to record first win on the road this season.

He has now scored three goals and Rivers United are second in the standings with seven points from three matches.

‘The Pride of Rivers’ are two points behind leaders Remo Stars.
