The Petroleum Technology Development Fund has assured all stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and the public, of its unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality services and achieving excellence in all its operations.

It stated that these efforts will foster innovation and promote sustainable development within the petroleum sector.

The PTDF Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer, Galadima Aminu, gave the assurance at an event to commemorate the 2024 Customers Service Week themed, “Above and Beyond” on Wednesday in Abuja.

Customer Service Week is an international event celebrated annually during the first full week in October when customer-orientated organisations and institutions around the world recognise the importance of customer service excellence to their organisations.

In his address, the Executive Secretary emphasised that the PTDF has made significant strides in providing exceptional services to stakeholders, which stands as a testament to the hard work and dedication of staff members.

Galadima said, “This year’s theme captures our ongoing efforts and focus to exceed expectations in delivering our mandates. The PTDF has made great progress in delivering outstanding services to our stakeholders and this is a testament not the hard work and dedication of our staff.

“Our commitment to excellent service delivery is rooted in our core values and culture. We are proud to celebrate our stakeholders and staff members this week. I urge you all to continue pushing boundaries to achieve greater heights in service excellence.”

The National Coordinator/ CEO SERVICOM, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli, on her part, said the event is to appreciate internal and external stakeholders for providing quality services to their customers.

She said, “We are celebrating and joining the world. It is a global celebration to celebrate the frontline workers and service takers. They are the people who make services happen. The providers provide service but the real reason why we have this organisation is because there are stakeholders we are established to serve. So the customer service week calls attention to the importance of people, especially our internal stakeholders. We need to celebrate and appreciate them for the great sacrificial services that they bring to bear in the lives of the people.

“This year’s theme which is above and beyond is illustrated to symbolise quality service and to drive towards excellence. It also speaks volumes about sophistication and elegance and this also tells us a lot about trustworthiness. ”

The event also witnessed the recognition of outstanding services to three staff members for being punctual, responsible, and effective in the discharge of their duties.
