Nigerian rapper Yung6ix, whose real name is Onome Onokohwomo, recently shared his experience of living in the United States.

In a video posted online, Rapper Yung6ix is seen shopping at a supermarket, where he purchased pounded yam and other groceries. During the video, Rapper Yung6ix revealed that his total bill came to $75, which translates to about N121,500 in Nigeria. He used this moment to offer advice to anyone considering moving to the U.S., emphasizing that people should be prepared to spend significant amounts of money.

His comments sparked reactions from netizens, with some questioning why Rapper Yung6ix converted his spending from dollars to naira, especially since he no longer resides in Nigeria.

In other news, rapper Yung6ix reacted to the recent brawl between Burna Boy and Davido in Ghana. Social media had been buzzing with reports of the two Afrobeats stars clashing at a club in Ghana. In response, rapper Yung6ix took to Twitter, urging both artists to settle their differences amicably.

He tweeted, “Last last if Burna and David sit down all this mis capping no go Dey play. F**d up scene to see your people fight themselves. Nobody dey hear word including me.”

It is worth noting that in November, rapper Yung6ix had previously appealed to Burna Boy and Davido to end their feud, warning that their massive fanbases could escalate the tension if left unchecked.

Meanwhile, the drama took another turn when Israel DMW, Davido’s logistics manager, blasted rapper Yung6ix by reminding him of how he once begged Davido for a feature. This came after Yung6ix shaded Davido, claiming it was him, Olamide, and WizKid who first emerged in the Nigerian music scene, not Davido.

Israel responded, saying:

“My dear Delta brother 6ix, still remember how oga made you blown in ur music career by featuring in ur ‘Let Me Know’ remix freely, after much pleadings. It is never good to be ungrateful in dis life, brother. One love.”
