In Ibadan, Oyo State, a 33-year-old woman named Comfort Olalere Tinubu has allegedly stabbed her 39-year-old husband, Olusegun Tinubu, to death.

The couple, who had been married for three years, shared two children.

The incident reportedly took place on Wednesday night around 10 p.m. in the Gbeyi community in the Adegbayi area.

According to sources, the conflict began when Comfort allegedly locked her husband out of the bedroom, leading to an argument that escalated into a physical fight. During the altercation, she allegedly stabbed him in the back.

The incident was initially reported to the Gbagi Police Station and has since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Iyaganku, Ibadan.

The Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State Police Command, Adewale Osifeso, confirmed that the case is being investigated by the Homicide Department, and further updates will be provided as the investigation progresses.
