The Super Eagles may need to change their formation to suit Victor Boniface, according to Efe Sodje, who featured at the 2002 World Cup.

Victor Boniface has continued to shine for Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, but has yet to establish himself in the Super Eagles.

Sodje said he believes Victor Boniface will come good with the Super Eagles if the team played to his strengths.

“He has not been consistent with the Super Eagles,” the former Super Eagles defender said.

“I remember we adapted to Julius (Aghahowa) style, we can do same for Boniface.

“We could change the system, adapt to his own game, like playing him alongside Victor Osimhen in attack.”

Victor Boniface, 23, has yet to score for the Super Eagles in seven appearances since his debut in September 2023.
