The Super Eagles will now need a miracle and some magicians to qualify for the 2026 World Cup and as a result of this former Sports Minister Solomon Dalung has urged President Bola Tinubu to appoint a Presidential Task Force (PTF) to ensure the country do the impossible.

“Nigeria will need a miracle to qualify for the 2026 World Cup,” Dalung stressed in a radio interview monitored by SCORENigeria

“We’re already heading to not qualifying.

“We’re a giant who is on the floor as we are at the bottom of our qualifying group.

“We therefore need some emergency measures like the President to set up a Presidential Task Force for the 2026 World Cup.

“We need an urgent administrative measure to tackle this issue.”

Dalung also berated former Sports Minister John Enoh, who has been redeployed to another ministry after the sports ministry was scrapped by the Federal Government.

He said Enoh failed to make an impact because he did not consultant his predecessors and sports professionals.
