2025 AFCONQ: Libya Coach Playing Mind Games With Eagles –Unuanel

Former Kwara United coach Samson Unuanel has has called on the Super Eagles to dismissed Libya coach Nasser Al-Hadiri’s comment that they are not well prepared to face Nigeria in this week’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Recall that Al-Hadir had admitted that the unavailability of his top stars has made it difficult for him to establish a comprehensive tactical plan for the game against the Super Eagles.

However, speaking with Completesports.com, Unuanel stated that the Libya coach is only playing mind games in order for Nigeria to play into their hands.

“I want to believe the Libya coach knows what he’s doing by saying such statement. He wants to play mind games with the Super Eagles and I know it wont work.

“The fact that he does not have his best players doesn’t mean that he can’t play with the players at his disposal. This is just a way of diverting attention away from his team and I am sure Austine Eguavoen understand this method.

“Whether they like it or not, the Super Eagles will come out victorious against Libya in the double header encounter.”
