The National President, Football Fans Club of Nigeria, FFCN, Ambassador Oluwakemi Ogunfuwa has lauded the Board of Nigeria Football Federation ably led by Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau over the launching of Monthly Football Awards.

Mama Nigeria as Ogunfuwa is fondly called has described the initiative as a welcome development stressing that the recognition will be a catalyst for greater prospects for Nigerian players

The number one woman in Africa leading an award winning Supporters club expressed optimism that the recognition of exceptional players would positively impact and lift not only the image of Nigerian footballers but also the administrators and critical stakeholders in the most populous African country

The former Secretary General noted that the launching would bring enthusiasm, positive energy and resourcefulness that would make the Board achieve its goals, adding that it would surely serve as the key to the overall development of Nigerian football in global space.

According to the graduate of University of Lagos, she said: “On behalf of the entire members of Football Fans Club of Nigeria, FFCN, I wish to sincerely appreciate the board of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, under the able leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau for the launching of the monthly football awards.

This initiative will not only bring a speedy development to Nigerian Football, but will also boost the image of Nigeria in global space.

This is a pointer to the next level of what Nigeria will enjoy under the Zamfara born Football administrator.

This shows that the present Board of the NFF knows what Nigerians want and we Fans Club are proud of their strides.
