TODAY’S TRANSFORMATIONAL TRUTH 21ST OCTOBER 2024 – #Be The Change

Hello Friends,

I hope you’re ready to embrace a powerful challenge today! On Triple T, we’re diving into a theme that will push you to take responsibility and lead by example: #BE THE CHANGE.

Let me begin by saying, “If you want to see change, you have to be the one to make it happen.” Many times, we wait for circumstances, systems, or other people to change, but true transformation begins when we decide to take the first step. The Ultimate Book says in James 2:17, “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Friends, “Don’t wait for change to come—be the catalyst for the change you desire.”

Consider the story of Akinwumi Adesina, the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and former Nigerian Minister of Agriculture. When Akinwumi stepped into the agricultural sector in Nigeria, it was plagued with inefficiency, corruption, and stagnation. Many people thought that the system was too broken to fix, but Akinwumi saw potential where others saw obstacles. Instead of being discouraged, he resolved to be the change.

With bold vision and relentless action, he revolutionized Nigeria’s agriculture by introducing innovative reforms. One of his landmark achievements was the introduction of the e-wallet system, which cut out middlemen and ensured that farmers received the government subsidies directly. This system transformed the lives of millions of farmers who previously had no access to the resources they needed to grow their businesses.

Akinwumi didn’t stop there. He pushed for more investment in agriculture, positioning it as the cornerstone of Nigeria’s economy. His reforms helped Nigeria increase its food production, create jobs, and reduce its dependence on food imports. His story reminds us that “Being the change requires courage, vision, and action—sometimes, you have to challenge the system and create a new path.”

As people of faith, we are reminded in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Friends, “When you decide to be the change, you inspire others to rise with you. You become a beacon of hope and a force for good in the world.”

As I conclude, let me remind you that “Change begins with you.” Whether you want to see improvement in your community, your workplace, or even your home, it starts with your decision to take action. Don’t wait for others—be the change that will ignite transformation.

In conclusion, I encourage you today to BE THE CHANGE. Take ownership of your situation and lead by example. With each step you take, you’re paving the way for a better future—not just for yourself, but for those around you.
