Belgium international hails Super Eagles' Chidera Ejuke ahead of Barcelona clash

Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke earned the praise of his teammate ahead of their crucial clash against Hansi Flick's charges.

Belgium international Dodi Lukebakio praised Nigerian star Chidera Ejuke for his sensational start to life as a Sevilla player as they prepare for their trip to Barcelona.

What Lukebakio said 

Starting on either flank for Sevilla, Lukebakio and Ejuke have been responsible for providing the spark in Los Nervionenses’s play. 

Chidera has been especially electric, immediately settling into life at the club after he was signed this summer. In a recent interview, his fellow flanker praised his attributes and highlighted his importance. 

“Ejuke is giving us a lot of joy and I’m happy for him; he’s very important for us and I hope he continues like this,” Lukebakio said, per Estadio Deportivo.

“We’ve already played together in Berlin and being able to do so now in a great club like this is different and special.

“We try to support each other, always wanting to give our best on the pitch. We’re going to work to score more goals and thus help the team to stay at the top of the table.”

The Nigerian leads the rest of the division in dribbles averaged per game while maintaining a high completion rate. Sevilla will rely on him to be at his best when they travel to Estadio Montjuic to face the league leaders tomorrow.
