Bobrisky’s absence due to health issues – Lawyer

The attorney for Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has clarified why his client did not appear before the House of Representatives as scheduled.

Bobrisky was expected to testify on Monday regarding allegations that he bribed officials from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to dismiss money laundering charges against him and to influence the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCoS) to avoid serving time in prison.

These allegations were brought forth by social media activist, VeryDarkMan.

However, when Bobrisky was due to appear, his lawyer informed the lawmakers that he was facing health issues.

The House of Representatives has requested medical documentation to verify the claims made by Bobrisky’s lawyer.
