Breaking: Court Denies Request By Bala Mohammed Group On PDP NEC Meeting

A Federal High Court sitting in Zamfara on Tuesday, refused to grant a request by a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) backed by the chairman of the party’s Governors forum and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, seeking to proceed with its National Executive Council(NEC) meeting.

The request was declined by Justice Salim Ibrahim, who presided over the case.

The Court also adjourned further hearing on the case to October 25.

It would be recalled that the Mohammed faction had filed the suit seeking an exparte order to hold the party’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting.
