The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the final shortlist for its prestigious Player of the Year award

The initial ten-man list has been narrowed down to three exceptional players.

The nominees are:

Ademola Lookman (Nigeria) – Atalanta and Super Eagles winger, who won the UEFA Europa League and was named Atalanta’s Player of the Year in the 2023/2024 season.

Victor Boniface (Nigeria) – Bayer Leverkusen and Super Eagles striker, instrumental for club and country, winning the Bundesliga title, German Cup, and German Super Cup.

Brahim Diaz (Morocco) – Real Madrid and Morocco playmaker, with notable wins including the Spanish La Liga title, UEFA Champions League, Spanish Super Cup, and UEFA Super Cup.

The winner will be announced at the CAF awards ceremony in Marrakesh.
