Nigerian-born stars Arike Ogunbowale and Nneka Ogwumike were both included in the 2024 All-WNBA teams.
Following incredible seasons, several of the league's best talents received well-deserved accolades when the 2024 All-WNBA teams were finally revealed.

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made the first team following her remarkable rookie year, and Kahleah Copper, who made the second team during her debut season with the Phoenix Mercury, are two of the first-ever All-WNBA selections.

Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty, Nneka Ogwumike of the Seattle Storm, and Dallas Wings member Arike Ogunbowale were again included.
On the first team, Clark was accompanied by Alyssa Thomas, Breanna Stewart, A'ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces, Napheesa Collier, and league MVP A'ja Wilson.
For Stewart, a two-time league MVP, it's his eighth overall and sixth first-team award.
It was the second team that featured two players of Nigerian descent.
Arike Ogunbowle and Nneka Oguwmike were rewarded for their performances this season.
The All-WNBA second team included Sabrina Ionescu (New York Liberty), Kahleah Copper (Phoenix Mercury), Nneka Ogwumike (Seattle Storm), Arike Ogunbowale (Dallas Wings), and Jonquel Jones (Liberty).
