Chelsea secured their second consecutive win in the UEFA Conference League, thrashing Greek Super League side Panathinaikos 4-1 Chelsea dominates Panathinaikos in Conference League

Enzo Maresca’s Blues now top the league phase table and have scored four or more goals in five games this season.

The Athens Olympic Stadium witnessed an emotional tribute to George Baldock, the former Sheffield United defender who passed away on October 9 at 31. Fans held placards with Baldock’s squad number 32 and played David Bowie’s “Starman” in his honor.

Chelsea navigated the opening stages carefully before taking the lead midway through the first half. Mykhailo Mudryk scored after Joao Felix’s header found him.

Mudryk doubled the lead after the restart, heading in Pedro Neto’s cross. Felix added a third with a deflected shot, and Christopher Nkunku sealed the win with a penalty despite laser interference.

Facundo Pellistri scored a consolation goal for Panathinaikos, but Chelsea’s dominant performance secured the victory.

Chelsea’s starting lineup included Filip Jorgensen as goalkeeper, along with Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk, Pedro Neto, and Christopher Nkunku. Panathinaikos’ lineup featured Bartlomiej Dragowski as goalkeeper, along with Tin Jedvaj, Azzedine Ounahi, and Facundo Pellistri.
