TODAY’S TRANSFORMATIONAL TRUTH 19TH OCTOBER 2024 – #Start Now

Hello Friends,

I hope you’re ready to take action today! On Triple T, we’re focusing on a theme that will inspire you to quit waiting and get moving: #START NOW.

Let me begin by saying, “Tomorrow is a promise, but today is an opportunity.” Too often, we fall into the trap of waiting for the perfect time to begin something important—whether it’s starting a new business, pursuing a career goal, or even making changes in our personal lives. But as the Ultimate Book says in Ecclesiastes 11:4, “Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” Friends, “If you keep waiting for the perfect moment, you’ll never take the first step. The key is to start now.”

Consider the story of Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, the founder of Innoson Motors, Nigeria’s first indigenous car manufacturing company. Chukwuma’s journey began in a small town in Anambra, where he grew up helping his father in a small trading business. While many might have waited for more capital or experience before venturing into the automotive industry, Chukwuma knew that the best way to make an impact was to start where he was.

In 1981, he began by selling spare parts for motorcycles. Even though it was a modest start, Chukwuma didn’t wait for a grand opportunity to make his mark. Over time, he grew his business, transitioning from spare parts to assembling motorcycles, and eventually, he had the vision to manufacture cars. Despite not having formal training in car manufacturing, he took bold steps and started anyway, growing Innoson Motors into a leading car manufacturer in Africa.

Chukwuma’s story is a testament to the power of starting now. He didn’t wait for ideal conditions; he began with what he had, learned along the way, and built one of the largest car companies on the continent. His success teaches us that “The perfect time doesn’t exist—what matters is starting where you are, with what you have, and trusting the process.”

As people of faith, we are reminded in Proverbs 16:3, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Friends, “When you take that first step in faith and commit your efforts to God, He will guide your steps and bring success to your plans.” The sooner you begin, the sooner you give God the opportunity to bless your efforts.

As I conclude, let me remind you that “Dreams are never realized by those who wait—they are achieved by those who act.” Whether you’ve been delaying on a business idea, a project, or personal growth, don’t wait any longer—start now. Take the first step, and let momentum build.

In conclusion, I encourage you today to START NOW. Whatever it is you’ve been putting off, take action today. The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step, so start where you are and trust that you’ll figure out the rest along the way.
