Student responds to child abandonment claims

A student has defended himself against accusations of abandoning a child, explaining that he discovered the mother was involved with multiple partners, including her boyfriend.

This comes after a viral story from a mother of twins who confronted her partner about a similar situation.

Another social media user, @yvonne_aneni, shared that her baby daddy treated her the same way.

In his response, the young man stated that he would not accept the child because the mother had been unfaithful.

He detailed how she had a boyfriend while also cheating with him, ultimately learning that he might be expected to take responsibility.

He wrote, “You can’t go around saying untrue things about me that you can’t even say to my face. Story time…. Hate to put this here, but I can’t just let you go around playing emotional appeal.

“You met me in 2022; one thing led to another, we f*cked, and you came back later saying you were pregnant. I was in 200 level that year, and that was bad news for me. Very bad news.

“I had reservations about how you got pregnant, but I went to your parents alone. 

“Naive me still told your family that I’d agree to raise the baby fully but that you keep it from my family. Your family declined and insisted that I tell my parents.

“You’re painting me as someone who dumped paternity, but I brought my parents to your parents’ house. They gave me an ultimatum to get my parents, and I made discoveries. You had multiple sex partners, and I approached the ones I could, so there’s evidence.

“You were in a relationship with a boy in my hostel; you were sleeping with him. You were also with his best friend; in fact, you slept with your boyfriend’s best friend a day after you were with me. The guy’s room is literally across from mine.

“You were texting your boyfriend to not tell anyone about the sex and to deny it if asked so you could tell your parents it wasn’t.

“And like I said, there’s evidence of these things. You were sleeping with about five people at the same time, using one post-pill for two people because it works after 48 hours.

“I discovered this and carried my parents along. Let’s not even talk about the money you collected from me while blackmailing me, making me think that I had a baby with you and you needed to take care of yourself.

“Tagging me almost two years later that I dumped paternity when you really don’t know who the father is… The baby could be mine or five others, and maybe it’s time to do a DNA test. You’ll hear from me soon.”
