Timaya reflects on enduring legacy, faith, and music industry insights

In an exclusive interview, Afro-dancehall legend Timaya shared his thoughts on his two-decade-long career, consistency, faith, and advice for upcoming artists.

The multiple-award-winning singer, known for hits like Dem Mama and Plantain Boy, boasted about his longevity in the music industry. "I'm a fighter, I keep going," Timaya said, attributing his success to resilience and determination. "Among all the OGs, I'm the most consistent; I can brag about that."

Meanwhile, when asked about retirement rumors, Timaya dismissed the notion. He stated, "My life is my career; a native doctor is a native doctor forever." He emphasized that music is an integral part of his being, and he has no plans to stop.
