I hope you’re standing firm today! On Triple T, we’re delving into a theme that speaks of unshakeable determination: #BE RESOLUTE.

Let me begin by saying, "True success comes from a heart that refuses to back down." Life presents us with many challenges, and sometimes the road ahead looks uncertain. But it’s in those moments that we must stand firm and keep moving forward. The Ultimate Book says in James 1:12, "Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life." Friends, "Resoluteness is the key to overcoming obstacles and achieving lasting success."

Consider the story of Gov Siminalaye Fubara during the local government election in Rivers State. He faced enormous opposition from Pro Nyesom Wike group, a political heavyweight with significant influence. From the start, the election process was riddled with challenges. Courts issued numerous injunctions to delay and disrupt the election, threatening to derail Fubara’s efforts. At one point, the police, under pressure from political forces, pulled out their support for securing the election process, leaving Fubara and his team to face further uncertainty and chaos.

Many in his position would have considered stepping back, but Fubara remained resolute. Despite the legal obstacles, political maneuvering, and lack of security support, he stood firm. His unwavering determination became the defining factor of his campaign. He knew that if he stayed focused and resolute, he could overcome the challenges ahead. Fubara worked tirelessly, rallying his supporters and maintaining his composure in the face of adversity. His persistence paid off when 22 out of 23 , of his loyalist who contested for the LGA Chairmanship position emerged victorious, securing a win that many thought was impossible.

Friends, This story is a powerful reminder that "When you are resolute, no opposition can stop you from achieving your goal." Even when it seems like every force is working against you, as a resolute heart will always find a way to succeed.

As people of faith, we are reminded that "God strengthens those who are determined to do His will." In Isaiah 41:10, it says, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Friends, "When you are resolute in your purpose, God gives you the strength to endure and succeed."

As I conclude, let me remind you that "The road to success is not for the faint-hearted." Whether you’re facing personal struggles, professional challenges, or societal pressures, being resolute is the key to pushing through. Stand firm in your convictions and trust that your perseverance will lead you to victory.
