A viral video captures party guests risking their lives for jollof rice while celebrating in the middle of a flood caused by heavy rainfall.

The disturbing clip shared by one of the guests @sbt768 revealed other partygoers seeking safety under a canopy and sitting calmly on the chairs while the overflowing water passed beneath them.

After the heavy rainfall ended the celebration, the guest @sbt768 jokingly cried out for aid while speaking in the background. He cried out that he had come for jollof rice, but the entire party area was submerged in water.

A male guest was seen sipping beer from a bottle under the cover while navigating the flood damage with his hands, even though there was a chance of danger.

The man @sbt768 was dismayed to discover the party area transformed into a swimming pool, courtesy of the flood.
