Liverpool manager Arne Slot secured his first major win as his team beat Chelsea 2-1, regaining their lead at the top of the Premier League table.

The Reds’ Curtis Jones played a huge role, winning a penalty and scoring the match-winner at Anfield.

Liverpool took the lead after Mohamed Salah converted a penalty, awarded when Jones was fouled by Levi Colwill.

Salah’s seventh goal of the season gave Liverpool the needed boost, but Chelsea equalized early in the second half through Nicolas Jackson after a VAR review overturned an offside decision.

However, just 76 seconds later, Jones restored Liverpool’s lead by capitalizing on a Salah cross, securing three vital points for the hosts.
