Abia Warriors returned to winning ways with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Plateau United at the Umuahia Township Stadium. Goals from Sunday Megwo, Adejoh Ojongwa, and Paul Samson sealed the win, while Adamu Abubakar’s effort for the visitors was only a consolation.
El-Kanemi Warriors secured their first home win of the season by defeating Enyimba FC 1-0, thanks to a decisive goal from Usman Abbas. The victory ended a streak of four consecutive home draws.
In Katsina, Kwara United earned a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Kano Pillars, while Remo Stars edged Bendel Insurance 1-0.
Bayelsa United also clinched a narrow 1-0 win over Heartland FC, and Sunshine Stars earned a similar 1-0 victory against Nasarawa United.
