Bishop David Oyedepo announced the news to his congregation during the Tehillah Night Special Edition.

The airstrip will enhance transportation for worshippers and visitors, particularly during large events like Shiloh.

The airstrip will allow for direct travel to and from the church premises, eliminating the need for airport visits. Members will also be able to land and park their aircraft at Canaanland.

The church will privately fund the project, demonstrating its commitment to self-reliance and infrastructure development.

Although the construction timeline has not been disclosed, church leadership assures that the project will be completed swiftly and in accordance with aviation standards.

This development adds to Canaanland’s impressive infrastructure, which already features the 50,000-seat Faith Tabernacle sanctuary.
